Check out the new Reckless Pack
Reckless is a fairly new paintball company bringing never before seen ideas and products to the industry. Such as the new Fist pack.
The first thing I noticed about the Fist Pack would be the unusual pod detachment. You basically put your pods inside a Velcro sleeve that detaches from the pack all together. This new design makes it a lot easier to reload quickly. With the design you can also keep your pod lids facing up therefore eliminating the possibility of spilling a pod while on the move. You are eliminating a step to remove pod by not having to undo the strap holding in a pod, this should help make it a faster reload pack. It is way easier to load the pack with pods, I mean how many times you have had to ask for help with a strap, or have someone put a pod in where you couldn’t reach. Not no more you will need no help loading this pack.
The pack is capable of holding up to 4 pods, which makes it usable for most front and mid tournament player. This pack seems perfect for 3 and 4 man play but I think you would have a problem playing 7 man with it because of the need for more pods. The pack is built with neoprene therefore it fits tight and is extremely comfortable. The pack is also great for the rec and woods ball players because of the low profile of the pack. It comes in many different color combos. If you own a Q-loader this is a perfect pack for you rip pod off and put right back on. I mean a normall pod most could care less, but a q-loader pod is not just a throw away pod. My favorite part of the pack was its comfortability. The belt is fully adjustable so you can fit almost anyone into it. But most of all it is built with a pillow on the back of the pack that makes it very comfortable to play in. What surprised me was that even with 4 pods in the harness it didn't shake much when I ran.
The only problem we found with this pack is that when new the Velcro is new it is hard to pull your pod off. It will not ever fall off but you still need it to come off and in a hurry. So the maker of this pack has come out with tabs that eliminate some of the Velcro and makes it real easy to remove pod and at the same time keeping secure so it don’t fall off in use.

Reckless Packs
To make it the fastest pack available, the system uses a sleeve around the pod which slaps onto a sort of Velcro cup. The result you ask? The result is a superior grip so you can play hard worry free and just rip a pod off your back in just one step. Another plus to the FistPack is that your pods are easily identifiable after the game is done and then all you have to do is pick one up and slap it back on your pack. The only downside for the pack is that it only comes with room to hold four pods. So if you use more than four pods, make sure you stick one or two extra in a pocket.

CFOA Press Release - January 5, 2006
Reckless Paintball to Sponsor the CFOA
Reckless Paintball and Joshua D. Silverman reached a sponsorship agreement today to bring the innovative new FistPack into the 2006 CFOA prize package. For the coming season, teams competing at all 16 CFOA events will have the opportunity to win these groundbreaking new products.
The FistPack system is a new design in paintball, utilizing a Velcro break-away concept to enable players to remove a pod, load it and get back into the game in half the time required by other pack systems, according to Reckless Paintball. “A lot of new ideas in paintball come and go,” said CFOA representative Joshua D. Silverman, “but the minute I saw the FistPack, I knew it was something truly different. I believe the players of the CFOA will appreciate this exciting new concept and enjoy receiving them as prizes at our events.” The FistPack also enables players to carry their pods lid-up, eliminating embarrassing and frustrating moments on the field when a pod pops open during a slide, run or attempt at reloading.
In addition to the world’s best five-man competition, the CFOA will offer the hottest format in paintball, X-Ball, to its customers for 2006. Players from Florida to Virginia and from South Carolina to Tennessee will now be able to enjoy the traditional five-man play for which the CFOA became popular or step up to the same format played by top professional paintball athletes, XBall. The CFOA anticipates an epic season in 2006, and looks forward to a long and fruitful relationship with Reckless Paintball.

PGI New Product - January 2006
Fists of Fury
Reckless Paintball are new to the pack-making scene, but they didn't just stitch some pod pouches and velcro to a belt and call it the hot new thing, oh no. When a player goes to refill, with a regular pack you have to open a flap, then pull the pod out, dumping your paint in the process before you sling the empty pod at some poor ref (don't say you've never done it). With the FistPack you just grab hold of a pod and pull it away from the pack in one quick, efficient motion that decreases the time before you are back shooting the bad guys. Engineered with enough Velcro to bankrupt the Wal-Mart shoe industry and a soft, comfortable back brace, the new FistPack could be the next big thing in how you carry your balls. www.recklesspb.com

PB2X New Products - January 2006
Reckless FistPack
One of the first true innovations in paintball packs and harnesses since the late nineties has come from a new source in that segment of the industry, Reckless Paintball. The FistPack, as it has been named, features an entirely new system of carrying pods on the pack and enables players to remove those pods from their pack and dump paint into their hoppers in an ingenius manner altogether different from the norm. Thanks to an abundance of Velcro, small colored sleeves wrapped around each pod allow a player to simply press their pods into the FistPack, where they will remain securely until required during the game. When a player reaches for a pod, they need only pull the entire pod away from the FistPack (Velcro sleeve and all) in one quick motion rather than open a flap and remove the pod from the pack as they would with any other pack. When reloading is completed, players can either toss their pod as normal or slap it back against their pack where it will not be lost or collected by some other player. This new and innovative system for carrying pods not only increases the speed at which a player low on paint can reload, but also allows players to carry their pods in their packs with the lids up, helping avoid embarrassing and frustrating spills during runs, dives and slides. As the FistPack is produced from high quality components including a comfortable and supportive back bracing pad, it should last even X-Ball players for quite some time without wearing out, ripping or tearing. Velcro pod sleeves are currently available in red, blue, neon green, yellow and gray, with other colors and even patterns soon to be released allowing players to match their packs to any color or style of team uniform. Perfect for X-Ball players for whom time on the field is of the essence, or for any player who simply wants to reload and get back into the game as quickly as possible, the new FistPack, from Reckless Paintball, is a new and interesting concept in paintball pack design and performance.
